Get Ready for a September Surprise: Apple May Launch AirPods with USB-C!

Well, the latest news from tech expert Mark Gurman at Bloomberg makes it sound pretty likely! In 2022, Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that this year, Apple might bring out AirPods with a USB-C charging case. We don’t know for sure if Apple will change much about the AirPods, besides the new case. Kuo mentioned earlier this year that Apple could release the fourth-generation AirPods in late 2024 or early 2025. They might also release a $99 pair of AirPods and the second-gen AirPods Max around the same time. So, it seems like we might get a new case for the AirPods.

Apple’s iPhone 15 event, named “Wonderlust,” will happen on September 12th. Along with the USB-C AirPods, Apple is likely to add a USB-C port to all its iPhone 15 models because of rules from the European Union. There’s also a chance Apple will unveil a Watch Series 9 and a second-gen Watch Ultra.
